Toronto. Consisting of a core group of enthusiastic and energetic players, The SteelBandits strive to create music to “Steel Your Soul”. A love for steelband music, as well as their rich Caribbean heritage, is the driving force behind this band. Led by a dedicated and committed Bandleader and Manager, Randolph Karamath, the band caters to a wide range of musical tastes. The SteelBandits’ extensive repertoire includes soca, calypso, pop, chutney, reggae, religious, classical, and Latin music. Alessandra Paonessa - Classical Crossover Soprano
Alessandra Paonessa is a Toronto born classical crossover soprano and recording artists known for her rich tone and bell like clarity. Her flexible voice allows her to sing in an array of styles including popular music, operatic aria and sacred music.
Alessandra is rising sought after recording artists. Most recently Alessandra released her debut album, an international collaboration, ‘Remembering Heaven’ (November 2014) which features the original work of British composer, Chris Broom and the orchestra of Air-Edel Studio.
